[SOLVED] XDJ-1000 beat jump values

Hi,

The XDJ-1000 has beat jump selections of 1, 2 and 4 beats under the Perform menu.

Personally, I'd never use 2 and 4, but would however use 16 and 32 - is there a way to change this default behaviour, or potentially include this as an option in a future firmware update?

Thanks.

Unfortunately the answer is there is no ability to change the default values. Sorry!

Thanks, so can this be considered a feature change request for a new firmware update?

This is an important one for the actual feature of beat jumping. Being able to skip through a quantized phrase at a time by 32 beats (practically impossible to detect by the 'untrained' ear when in a set is big miss for this function on these players.

Even with a firmware update, this would not be possible on this unit, sorry.

+1 for 8 beat jump, maybe to implement it on track search buttons like it is if the player is connected to the rekordbox dj, and to turn it on or off in the utility .. this would be a great feature =)

just sayin =D

Wanted to bring this thread back to life. It appears that non of the pioneer players allow the ability to change the default beat jump amount. I use 64 and 128 back jump in Rekordbox DVS all the time. I'm bummed the XDJ and CDJ's don't have this setting. Is this something that has been discussed for future releases?

It's in as a feature request however we don't have any information on whether or not it will be implemented, or when.

Thanks for the reply. I really hope future updates include it.
