How do I stop tracks playing one after each other when using USB on XDJ-R1

The tracks appear to play one after the other when in USB mode. Say I use vinyl mode at the beginning of a track if I rewind to far back it selects the tune previous. I want to select my own tunes not it cycle through or be able to go back whilst rewinding. Also I've noticed pressing cue at start of a song ends up taking me to a queue I created on the previous tune. With is not using hot cues or even with the tracks analysed. Any help me much appreciated

Turn off auto cue.

you actually want to turn auto cue ON, not OFF. This will stop the track and set a cue point at the first noise it hears every time it loads the track. it will not continually play through every track then

This is not correct. For some reason the XDJ-R1 lacks a feature of the Aero and all other Pioneer players. (single play). Because of this there's seemingly no way to avoid scratching back into the previous track etc or to stop the R1 from auto loading the next track.

Mine does scratch back into previous which is slightly annoying but it doesn't play next song anymore and im sure it doest cue the next song. ill double check and post back on that

Yeah, if single play mode was working it would not scratch back into the previous track and at the end of the current track it would simply say END. That's how the single play option on the XDJ AERO works.
