CDJ2000 JOG-Display Problem

Hello everybody.

I have a problem with my cdj2000.

My two cdj2000 and the djm900nxs mixer are connected to the laptop. (usb)

Now I can play music from the laptop, but the display in the middle of the jog-wheel doesn't running smoothly.

The platter in traktor doesn't move too.

Any idea how I can solving that problem ?

Thanks !

steve

@ Steve > The CDJ 2000's use "HID" mode with Traktor when connected via USB. Since Traktor does not have "Advanced HID" mode, this causes a lot of lag with the software, and even if your computer is brand new there will still most likely be lag.

How do you have your players and mixer connected to your computer?

Are you using USB cables from your CDJ's or are you using a Traktor sound card and the timecode CD's provided?

Sorry no one replied to you earlier, but I'll try to help you out as much as I can.

Thanks,

@steve > Thanks for more information on your setup. I'm just curious as to what you were referring to when you said "The platter in traktor doesn't move too"?

You should not see a "platter" in Traktor if you are using HID mode. You should see the waveform of each track you load up and no "timecode" control option.

You need to disable to "timecode" control in your preferences, and ensure the CDJ-2000's are assigned to each channel in Traktor 2 using your "Setup Wizard". This will ensure your CDJ's are controlling the software directly. Also, if you are using a DJM-900, you can use the built in sound card to use with Traktor 2 to control the timecode signals.

For more info on the DJM-900 and Traktor 2 you can watch Pulse's video here:
