Official update status - Traktor (Scratch) Pro – Upcoming: 2.6

This thread provides information about upcoming patches for Traktor. It will be updated whenever new information becomes available.


The currently available software version is 2.5.1. Please make sure that your installation is up to date.

Upcoming version: 2.6

The update will include the following improvements:

New and improved features:

TRAKTOR KONTROL Z2 integration

11 new "MacroFX" single-knob combination effects

"Flux Mode" retains song position during HotCues, Beatjumps, Loops etc.

Post-Fader mode for FX Units

Factory Map Override option for individual Controllers in Controller Manager

New gain system with independent Channel Gain knobs and Auto-Gain knobs

New "Z ISO" EQ and "Z" filter models as featured on Z2 mixer

Z ISO EQ is now full kill at the left end of knobs path

New "QuickSnap" behavior for the EQ and Filter controls

New Transport Preference prevents Remix Decks from becoming Tempo Masters

New Transport Preference limits Tempo Master to On-Air Decks to become Tempo Masters

HID support for Pioneer CDJ 2000nexus (SLIP button is mapped to FLUX mode)

Minor gain-staging adjustments for Live Input Deck

Various other fixes and improvements

This list is subject to change, and does not necessarily list all features and fixes that will be in the final update.


Please understand that it is not possible to give a specific release date until a patch has passed final testing. Updates may revert back to "development" at any time if additional issues are discovered during testing.


Patch status explanation:

specification - the changes to the software are defined, including details of new features and the list of fixes.

in development - the code of the software is being worked on by the developers.

beta testing - the new version is checked by a testing group for functionality, stability and compatibility.

final testing - the update goes through a final series of standardized tests prior to release.
