[SOLVED] NXS and TP 2.6

Traktor Pro 2.6 supposedly supports the CDJ 2000nexus, however, I can only get 2 outputs in the Output Routing screen, on either Deck A or Deck B, not both. I only have 2 outputs in the dropdown list instead of 4, so both players output comes from either Left or Right.

Speakers (Pioneer CDJ-2000 nexus) is selected in the Audio Setup/Audio Device.

I've ran the seup wizard numerous times, selecting the correct settings but still I only get 2 output channel instead of 4.

Any help would be greately appreciated.

Here's what mine looks like.

Neither can I can't adjust the latency and even the sample rate box is greyed out and not functional.

Can't you use your mixer as a soundcard?

No, my mixer doesn't support it,

Traktor worked fine when I had my CDJ 900s nut since upgrading to CDJ 2000nexus I'm having problem after problem.

I'm trying to use Traktor because rekordbox is un-usable until there is an update for it and possibly firmware for NXS.

Have you aggregated your two cdjs into one sound card?

I'm on Windows PC so don't need to.

I know my CDJs sound cards work because they play through rekordbox.

I can't think of anything else to solve this problem, other than uninstalling and re-installing Trakor, which I doubt will make a difference.

I don't use Windows but read page 15, 39 & 41 in the CDJ-2000NXS manual about installing the Windows driver and connecting to 3rd party DJ Software and read the attached pdf.

I hope this helps!

Funny you should mention that, I read through the manual about half hour ago.

It seems I accidently uninstalled the driver.

Just hope the new firmware released on Monday resolves the issue I'm having with NXS loading tracks (or NOT loading tracks, even).

Gavin,

I have done that - Traktor now works, however, I still cannot get some tracks to load when using rekordbox which I'm hoping the firmware will fix.

If not I'm selling my NXS's and going back to CDJ900 and rekordbox 1.5

I tried playing out last night, in the club they have the new nexus cdj2000's. for some reason it would pick up both sound cards, but wouldn't let me select the Pioneer CDJ Asio, which is what i can usually do at home with my cdj 900's. (aggregate device) so i had to play off one channel. luckily i had the kontrol x1 and could use the filter, and macrofx to fade songs out.

I don't know why this was happening, can anyone help me out? do you need to have the latest windows driver 1.200 for it to all work properly in HID mode with Traktor?

You need to aggregate the sound cards from multiple players (Mac) or use a software like ASIO4ALL (Windows) to make Traktor see the multiple devices as one single audio interface.
