VirtualDJ 7.1

VirtualDJ will be releasing a 7.1 update within the coming weeks. They have added ton of new controllers to native support within VDJ, a general maintenance release, as well as a touch of some of the features from Version 8!

They are showing Version 8 at the DJ Expo, complete with new skin and revamped config area. The testing is moving along nicely and they are determined to deliver the absolute most stable build possible, when its ready. In the mean time, you'll be pleased with this coming update!

i've been using virtual dj since version 3. and here is what i know for a fact.

  1. they will never let the community know when the software will be released. as they quote it over and over again "it will be released when it's ready"
  2. there are always many bugs the beta testers miss that don't get fixed until the users actually play with it and report it.

so, keep that in mind.
