No auto loop or loop cut feature on Cdj 2000nxs

Hi I recently moved over to serato Dj and want to use my cd2000nxs with my sl3, everything connects ok but I cannot use my loop/cut button, I tried to map them but my midi option is grayed out in serato Dj is there any way to get this feature working even an instant 4 beat loop assignable, on pioneer's official walkthrough video to connect to serato Dj it says the sync and slip buttons where assignable in midi mode before it was made available on the new update with serato Dj. Any help would be appreciated.
