I've had my XD RX for about 2 months. Love it. However last week I started having a couple of issues. Firstly it crashed on me, which having read previous posts, I seemed to have fixed. However I then started playing tracks directly off the USB , then during a gig the screen flickered when playing back. The flickering is unbelievably annoying. At first I thought it was the zoom in, zoom out function. It wasn't. Did all the usuals, turn on and off. I then swapped out the USB, re exported my playlists and it still flickered. I then connected via LAN cable to my mac and it was fine. It's really frustrating. I would rather just contact the seller I purchased it from and get a replacement unit. I love the RX but without stating the obvious, not being able to use the USB because of flickering makes the unit kind of redundant. Have you had any thing like this. Do you think I can just get the unit swapped from the retailer? Please advise
It could be a defect, but without having it come back to service there's no way to say for sure. Chances are your retailer won't exchange it after 2 months, but you can always try contacting them before trying Pioneer technical support.
