DDJ400 grounding issue

Hi guys

 

I'm sure some of you know that there's a grounding issue, where the jog wheels often won't work unless I touch the metal body of my laptop. Support know about this as I've seen them answer queries about it and they recommend a grounding kit but it's like £80!!

 

Is this a fault with these CDJ or is it that something I have plugged in isn't grounded properly? I shouldn't have to spend £80 to rectify this if it's a poor design flaw, it gets so I can't use my decks as I need to keep one hand on my laptop when cueing a track
