DDJ-SR overly sensitive LPF / HPF buttons?

The two knobs underneath the bass filter buttons, the ones that allow for LPF / HPF sort of effect... is there a way to turn these off in the software? I feel like mine are super sensitive and have a hard time staying put at zero. I will drop a track and a garbly flangery filter effect will be put onto the track until I adjust that knob slightly and make sure it's right at start position. Is this a hardware issue?
