@ashley > It's possible the Macbook is not providing adequate power over the USB connection; try using a USB-Y cable to deliver more power and see if that helps.

ddj sb headphone volume too low on macbook
the volume from my ddj sb headphones is too low and I am unable to make it louder, Its works fine on my other pc/laptop but on my macbook the volume is very low. I am using macbook os x 10.7 with serato dj 1.7.3 full version, please can you assist me.

I tried that out as I managed to borrow the cable to test it out, no joy. the volume changes, it is ok for a while then go soft when loading the 2nd track and so on. I see on this forum people had this issue with the ddj sb more then a year ago on macbook, surely pioneer should have come up with a solution or driver update by now. When I use my dell laptop or pc I have no issues, I am also using pioneer headphones which are very good quality headphones. Please help.
