DDJ sb2 with recordbox dj software

Currently, no, the SB2 is not compatible with rekordbox DJ, but new units are being added every month, so we may or may not see it included in future.

If you already have songs analyzed on a USB drive, provided that USB drive is the SOURCE of your collection and not an export, you could also host the database on that drive, take it to another computer, and load it up no problem. You CAN NOT simply take an export USB drive and connect it to another rekordbox computer to play.

Oke a shame, becouse i am looking for a new extra set to take on vacation.
But i dont understand the last part.
I have just recordbox on my laptop, and normaly i put all my analyzed songs on the usb stick. so i can put it in the cdj nexus and xdj rx.
But can i also put it in my laptop and play with recordbox dj software from this usb stick?

You can export songs from rekordbox, put them on a USB drive and then use that drive in a CDJ or XDJ product.

You can't take that USB drive and use it in another computer (non-host-database). You CAN use it from your own, but we don't suggest playing from export devices over the link if those same tracks are available within the collection.

Any news on the SB2 support yet for rekordbox? I don't really want to purchase a full version of Serato, only to find that Rekordbox is released a week later!

Can you even let us know if this is in development or on a road map. I can understand you can't provide a definite date, but some idea of future support would be useful.
