should be no problem, are you sure the machines are on the latest firmware?
it would be interesting what resolution the wavs are? maybe 96/24?
Hi
Sorry if this has already come up, couldn't find an answer searching. Last few gigs I've played - on CDJ2000's (not sure if Nexus or not) I've been unable to play a few tracks which I have as .wav files at a bitrate of 2116 kbps from a USB stick.
Is this bitrate not supported?
thanks
Tim

Files in question are 24bit 44khz. Not sure if the CDJs are up to date on firmware - not something I really look into or can mess around with during a set, when it won't load I just move on - but I've had the problem on at least 2 separate pairs of 2000s.
Thanks for reply.
hmm often played 441,/24 wavs on cdjs (900/2000/nxs) never had problems, i always check the fw levels before a gig.
maybe the wav headers are damaged? wav files are quite sensible and have to be exactly on standard.
Yeah it's a weird one. Going to be using one of the culprit pairs tonight so I'll see if anything changes by then. Thanks mate
