Same. I currently cannot see wav forms with my XDJ RX updated to 2.0... I feel like I jumped the gun a bit early as it is 5am here in LA

rekordbox update Ver. 4.0.8

for me HID not working... also i cant use none of beat fx or sound color fx plus the midi cant see my xdj rx... i'm on rekordbox 4.0.8 and xdj rx firmware is 2.0

is there any way to reinstall 1.8 firmware???... or some one can explain the correct way to enable HID mode???

rekordbox 4.0.8 installed but when i creat new playlists or folders in itunes the wont bei transfered/created into rekordbox - still worked until version 4.0.7

mac os 10.8.5, itunes 12.3.2.35

downgrade to rekordbox 4.0.7?

problem solved - starting the sync manager in rb 4.0.8 new playlists from itunes are shown :)

@Mark : Thnx for the instruction ;) for the beat fx and sound color fx??? we should try to mapp the on/off buton on beat fx??? all other knob's working... on sound color fx none of the fx buttons work except color knob 

HID mode means you should not have to map anything.  It's all native.  Are you sure you followed the proper steps??  Please watch this video.

@Hairless > There are no beat effects on the XDJ-RX, but yes, there seems to be a glitch on the CFX; if you click it in rekordbox with your mouse, it will engage and work, but pressing the buttons doesn't seem to switch them.

i didn't know how to explain better,that's why i posted a photo... and even if activate the fx with my mouse none of the fx i choose seems to work... if i activate Color filter fx with my mouse the filter led start blinking same as the fx on/off but the fx is not applied... another thing is that i saw in the midi settings that in the fx option there is no deck assigned to every function and no possibility to asign deck ...sorry for my english i hope u understand me :(

Using HID mode on another platform we simply connected and if the drivers / software was installed it was plug & play as long as you had a USB hub connected via each CDJ & then your computer to whatever source (SL Box) and you connected the decks. 

My point is I feel as though for clarity maybe the little note should be a little bolder "For those looking to connect in HID mode please see the following instructions for setting up a new MIDI device). 

Forgive me as I'm trying to understand this new platform. As I just tried HID mode recently on CDJ2000Nexus and struggled for the first 30 minutes trying to understand why isn't working as I was used to connecting it on another platform. Then I discovered the CDJ Aggregator tool which I thought would be something natively built into the software for ease of use. I think despite how tech savvy some of us may appear in this forum, we are all still learning. Thanks a million for the video - really helped out tremendously. I will keep digging a bit more through manuals to find out what & why I'm doing what I'm doing. Sometimes I just follow instructions and the reason why get stumped when something may not work right because I don't have any clue to what I'm doing haha, but I just know that it works every time I repeat certain steps. 

@Dominic > It's not the wording.  It's the fact that people don't want to read more than the absolute minimum.  I would say about 70% of the issues people have here can be resolved by people reading the manual or following instructions properly.  We live in the age of instant gratification and people expect everything to be plug and play but unfortunately when you're dealing with multiple version of Windows, OSX, drivers, firmware, software things can get a little dicey.  

This release is a pain...
I am using Rekordbox 4.0.8 on my Win 7 machine and tried to run my WeGo 1 with my SP1 together as I usually do in Serato. Only one MIDI device is being accepted. The first connected device will work the second not. So I can't use both at the same time.

@Hairless > Re-read what I said -- the RX can't engage the effect, but if you click it in he software, the effect turns on and the light on that button blinks. You can then use the filter knob to use the effect.

@Dominic > Between the forums, support site, and product documents, there is a tremendous amount of reference material available and we do wind up linking it the majority of the time we provide answers. There's nothing wrong with users making an effort to capitalize on these resources to find an answer or solution. I'm sorry you had to find out that the aggregator was required the hard way, but you could have saved yourself the frustration by reading the connection guide.

@Pulse > is this a joke? Seriously you sell hardware and but your software is not able to deal with both at the same time although other Software is able to? (Serato and DJay for example)

From this perpsective the 139€ are not worth to waste sorry....

@Thomas > Our software is able to support multiple devices - check the ability to use multiple CDJs simultaneously. There are other limitations, which I can't get into at this time, but as I said, we hope to see this change in future.

Engineers have noted that the CFX selection button issue will be fixed in an update to be released soon. Thanks for your patience!
