CDJ2000 VINYL mode not working properly, pressure sensor tested OK, springs OK

CDJ2000 in VINYL mode behaves as though platter is pushed down. Pressure switch has been checked , tested ok. As well the 3 springs holding up the platter that are known to be weak, are definitely strong enough. What is the next thing to check?
