The engineers are aware of several complaints with the filter and will be making a fix with an upcoming firmware. Thanks for your feedback!

When turning left everything works fine. When turning right nothing happens between 12-2 o'clock also the sound comes like on/off when turning right. With different tracks you can hear thump sound when turning back to 12 position.
I have read what The engineers have replied but its not like that. When you turn it to the left it works like it should its only problem to the right. Also that thump sound is not smooth or normal to filter. Also if it has engineered that way why the other sound color effects works even when i turn sweep 1 cm to the right i get that effect and it allmost same as filter. Just saying.... I dont even touch the filter anymore with this i just use sweep. 900NXS was one of the best and i tough this was better.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JRoSlxihRbs&feature=youtu.be heres even better video. Again to the left no problem to the right teribble thump clicking sound and engineers says this is the smooth filter mmkay.... Is this hardware problem or mixers software problem?
try crush colour effect with parameter turned all the way down, its not too bad for a filter
Glad I read this. For the money the filter should be perfect. I was just about to buy one in 2 weeks!!
As previously noted, there will be a firmware update to address the issue.
So when this update is coming?????? i have been checking allmost every day pioneer support site is there new update but nope.....
When it comes out. We don't have a timeline for release, sorry.
I have the same kind of problem but than with the sweep effect, when turning the knob to the left the sound cuts and stops. It almost sounds like the trans effect:
@Paul > That's actually intended; see page 15 in the manual:
Turning the knob to the right engages the right is like a filter, turning to the left engages the GATE effect.
@pulse, okay thank you for your reply.
Just updated my mixer to 1.10 thank pioneer for fixing filter when parameter knob is center position BUT when you turn it to right even it still have that clicki/crackling sound!! But when turning to left no problem. Is this hardware problem or is it still software bug??? It happens on all 4 channels that makes me think its not hardware problem. Can somebody else test this too?? Make simple noise sound(best way to hear it clearly) and use roll to record it, then use filter. I can hear that clicki sound trough the PAs when track is playing. Heres video for you after 1.10 update (I know its annoying sound). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A-ttp9WLVYk&feature=youtu.be
@Sami > Sorry about the problem, I've asked the engineers to take another look at this issue.
In my testing, I've found the clicking sound to really only be heard with certain frequencies playing back, as in your example, the white noise. With music, it's much less apparent.
Thanks. Yeah with some tracks you can hear it clearly and with some tracks you bearly hear it. Hope there will be fix for it then this mixer is 10/10. Never had this problem with DJM2000 when moving parameter.
I've heard back from the engineers with this official statement:
"We are working on the investigation if we can make some improvements, but we may not make further improvement due to technical limitations."
