Rekordbox keyboard shortcuts being set incorrectly with SHIFT

Yes, I'm using the latest version of Rekordbox, 4.2.0c.

While in the process of setting my keyboard shortcuts/presets, anytime I try and set a shortcode with SHIFT and an integer (0-9), only half the time it sets the shortcut correctly.

Example:

Keys Pressed -> Rekordbox Result Saved

SHIFT + 1 -> SHIFT + 1
SHIFT + 2 -> SHIFT + @
SHIFT + 3 -> SHIFT + 3
SHIFT + 4 -> SHIFT + 4
SHIFT + 5 -> SHIFT + 5
SHIFT + 6 -> SHIFT + ^
SHIFT + 7 -> SHIFT + 6
SHIFT + 8 -> SHIFT + :
SHIFT + 9 -> SHIFT + 8
SHIFT + 0 -> SHIFT + 9

There's clearly a bug with the special characters because my keyboard does not have any problems, and being a software developer myself this screams bug to me, especially because the problem is only with the special character row with integers.

With how much marketshare Pioneer has I am completely baffled by all the bugs, missing features, and issues i've had with Rekordbox.  You guys need to focus on the actual core software and stop trying to create new upgrades or "addons" to sell.  I've used almost every competitor software out there, and even ones like CrossDJ are putting Rekordbox to shame ... come on guys get your stuff together, I expected more out of Pioneer after spending thousands of dollars on my gear.

Annnndddddd ... that's just the beginning of it, they keyboard shortcuts don't even work.  The only one that works ... is when I hit the 6 key (without any shift) and it plays deck 2 hot cue A, which is supposed to be key 7 (without shift) ..

All other keys do nothing, including when using shift ... comeee onnnn mannnn

Oh wow that doesn't make me feel any better, only worse ... damnit it sounds like it's time to start midi mapping my ddj-rx for CrossDJ or some other software that clearly works better than the industry leader's software .... so disappointed in you Pioneer.

I was going to create a ticket for this but it seems like you just reported it yourself.  We should have this resolved in a future update.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

A week later, and still NO response to my support ticket .... wow guys this is pretty bad that you can't even respond to a support ticket saying "Hey we're looking into it"

@Myles > I assure you that this is being looked into.

  1. There are many internal notes (not visible to you) on your ticket as the engineers are passing information back and forth.  As a moderator, I can see them but it does me no good as the notes are in Japanese.
  2. Most of the Pioneer DJ office in Japan is on national holiday this week.
  3. This issue can only be resolved by releasing an entire new update.  This is not an easy task and will require time. We appreciate your patience.
