Update: I've been told that this issue was addressed in the 4.2.4 Beta 5 which you can download here.
Hi
I have just got a new XDJ-RX and I love it, but I have noticed something that is very strange.
It came with the latest firmware 2.10 and i am using Rekordbox 4.2.4 via the Pro DJ Link.
Now every new track I get I set the grids up perfect on my computer first and add multiple memory cue points as I like to have them and everything was perfect when I was using Rekordbox DJ. On the XDJ-RX thought the grids are all slightly out which means that my cue points are all out and makes them all pretty much useless.
If I drag the same track up to the player in RB on the Mac/PC the grid is aligning perfect, exactly how I set them.
Obviously I don't need the grids to mix bit it does make quantize pointless and looping a bit tricky.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok so having some more time this afternoon I have tested these files on my HDD just in Export mode and the grids line up perfectly.
On the XDJ-RX using Link they are all out like they haven't been adjusted at all?
I don't want to sort out all the grids on my tracks as I buy them and have them all be off on my lovely new controller.
I can get a screenshot of the grid on within RB and then how it looks on the XDJ-RX when I get in from work if that would help?

I have also now found perfect examples on YouTube of my issue.

What's funny is the second video you've linked SHOWS that the grid on his tracks is NOT accurate:
I cant speak for their grids, this is just how mine sounds with my grids that are perfect in the software and not on the controller.
And I don't really find this kind of issue funny after spending £1149 on a new piece of kit.
Here is an example from my library:
Track in Rekordbox 4.2.4:
Same Track in XDJ-RX:
This is happening with every track in my library. I did not have this issue with Rekordbox DJ.
Another example:
RB:
XDJ-RX:
(Bottom Track)
Now I know that these grids are perfect as I can mix them in Export Mode and they are spot on.

I also have tracks where the kicks are blue:
I can provide other proof if you want? This is the track in my second example.
And another example with a blue Kick:
So I would say that the grid in that YouTube video IS accurate.
OK so after further investigation, and exporting the 2 examples above with the perfect grids to USB the XDJ-RD can read the grid as it is set in the software. So the issue is the XDJ-RX not being able to read the grid information properly via the Pro DJ Link.
Same 2 tracks from the same database on the same drive on the same Mac, only difference is they have been dragged and dropped in Link mode:
Apologies @pulse for the multiple posts but I work in IT and am very methodical with my troubleshooting :D
Further update:
Today I have formatted my Mac and installed Mac OS from scratch and installed only Rekordbox 4.2.4 on it.
Unfortunately I am still experiencing the same issue with every track in my collection.
KB.
I have also tried linking to the Mac direct and taking my switch out of the equation. Still exactly the same.
KB.
OK so I am now having this issue:
All of my files are analysed in RB?
Please help :(
Ok I have fixed that, thank god for Time Machine. Restored the .Pioneer folder.
Original issue still exists. If anyone at Pioneer could help that would be amazing. Such a strange issue only happens with Link Export. Exporting to UBB works fine and works fine withing the software itself using 2 players in Export mode.
I have reached the end of my troubleshooting I don't want to wreck my database and just need some help now.

@ (KB) Kieran Bowley
Thank you for pointing out this issue. I wasn't aware of it until I read your posts.
And I can reproduce it:
So, obviously it is an issue introduced with rekordbox 4.2.x.
My setup: XDJ-RX with Firmware 1.80 on Mac OS 10.11.6 connected via ethernet and Pro Dj Link. And did not use the USB ports so far.
I installed 4.1.2 and 4.2.4 from scratch with new databases and used the exact same track for the tests.
Until Pioneer irons out all the issues introduced with 4.2.x., I will stick with 4.1.2. Unfortunately.
@Pulse
I switched to Rekordbox after using Traktor 14 (!) years because I wanted to ditch the laptop and use reliable hardware. Pioneer, please show me that this was not the wrong decision.
@Plangin
Thank you for getting back to me. Hopefully they will stop ignoring my posts now, or laughing at my troubleshooting. I think we have provided more than enough information to get the issue fixed.

Can I download 4.1.2 anywhere? In the meantime?
For Mac:
@Plangin
Legend, thank you!
Just to confirm
that I have removed 4.2.4 from my Mac and installed 4.1.2 and the problem had gone way. My grids via Link are as they should be:
These are the same 2 tracks as in my earlier posts.

Makes me wonder if the firewall was blocking some of the data... is it connected directly with no networking hardware between, firewall off, and wifi disconnected?
I get the same issue directly connected and plugged in to a switch. No firewalls enabled on my Mac or internal network. I am also a Network Administrator.
Also my Wifi has been off ever since I have been using RBDJ, not turned it back on either.
Asked our product team to investigate.
i get the same issue on my cdj 2000 Nxs too bro, But pioneer have stopped answering my questions why this happens lol ill have to try what u did cheers at least their help some were!
Thank you @Pulse.
Just to confirm, this issue is with the Windows version of rekordbox 4.2.4 (64bit) as well.
4.1.2 is fine but 4.2.4. is off when using ProDJ Link.
I am using XDJ-1000's
So this is a general issue probably.
Update:
After doing a small test I am not sure if it is just a graphic issue to show the cues at the right place but they are not really off. I was playing a song in parallel on 2 XDJ-1000. Player 1 loaded from USB, Player 2 loaded via ProDJ Link. Playing both tracks with 'sync on' sound pretty much the same compared to playing both players loaded from USB.
Do you have noticable differences?
While there is for sure a difference showing the hot cues etc. when using exported USB or ProDJ Link, I am not sure if they just show wrong but play right.
I think the experts from Pioneer need to look at this.
Hello
I have the same issue with the sync mode with my XDJ-RX.
Sync good in rekordbox... but it s not working good with XDJ-RX (in link mode and also in export mode usb device).Same issue with rekordbox 4.1.2. I think it's a XDJ-RX firmware problem!
I have no issues with USB Export. I cannot reproduce in 4.1.2.
For me this is only an issue with Link on 4.2.4. I do not think this is a firmware issue.
