The next flagship DJM, (DJM 900nxs 3?) and rotary knobs

On the next flagship DJM, a switch/button to make the color fx knobs control the volume instead of the faders, could be a makeshift way of having rotary knobs on the mixer. On the 900 nx2, the color fx knobs are chunky and would be nice to use as a rotary knob. Just a crazy idea that I had. Thanks.
