Link button not showing in RB4 (4.2.4) when trying to connect CDJ2000 Nexus to Laptop (Mac) using a LAN hub?

 ******************

Trying to connect RB4 (4.2.4) in 'export' mode to CDJ2000 Nexus using a LAN hub and cannot see the 'Link' button within the RB4 software window (it used to be at the bottom below devices)?

The LAN hub is powered and showing connections/signals from each deck (and the DJM 900 when I tested this), however when I connect a my laptop  to theLAN hub no signal is showing and no 'Link' button showing?

Have tried updating my security settings to allow:

  • rekordbox (appllication)
  • PSvLinkSysMgr

But cannot see if PSvNFSd & edb_streamd are blocked (and causing the issue)?

Any ideas what may be the problem here?

@Kvaldini > Sorry to hear about this - I know the engineers are working to address some issues with 4.2.4 (which is what I expect you meant to type), but that's not necessarily related to the link button not appearing.

My first suggestion would be to go in and disable your firewall and connect only one CDJ direct to see if that works, if so, work from there to figure out where the issue may be.

Thanks Pulse (updated the 4.2.4 above!)... I have tried the above and no go sadly.

Signals from CDJs & DJM900 all showing up with a signal going into the Hub (so no issues there), just the RB software not showing the 'Link' button needed to connect everything?

Have tried turning the firewall off, firewall on (+ exceptions inc. the Rekordbox application & PSvLinkSysMgr)... still no joy.

Is anyone else having this problem, or has a solution since the 4.2.4 update?

@Kvaldini - did you get anywhere with this? Having the same problem, can't find a solution anywhere...
