Question about Gate Cue on XDJ RX3

I have an issue with the Gate Cue, for example, the song loaded in is Turn on the lights again, i set the first beat as Cuepoint and when i used the pad to press Gate Cue, it works as a vocal stab button, which is expected.
However, when i set a second cue point at the start of another vocal, after i pressed that Gate Cue button, the channel continues to have sound like i have just pressed pause on the track and does not stop at the cue point after i released, i am not sure why it doesn't work like the first cue point??
