Rev 5 - Does tempo slider fader cap pop off?

Asking because I've ordered a brushed metallic full skin for the rev 5 from 12inch skins.

part of the skin goes in the slider well and I want confirmation the fader cap will pop off before I try to pop it off and possibly damage it.
