Might I recommend reading the Owner's Manual or perhaps the Quick Start Guide?
Or if you just want to get going with it as a controller for rekordbox dj, watch this video.
I have the xdj-rx, there's no sound coming through the speakers or headphones. No lights on the master level above the fader when I have a track playing on either deck?

You didn't set the switch to 'Line' ??? It is on 'Deck 1' right?
What do you mean set the switch to Line? I have a tracks loaded on both deck 1 and deck 2 and when I play there is no light on the master level, through speaker or headphones?
Above the EQ you have the switch to select if you want the 'line 1' (on the left side of the mixer console) to go through the faders (what you connect external behind the XDJ-RX) or the 'deck 1'. This is USB or Rerkordbox.
I've got the same problem and I've only just taken the controller out of the box. Also, none of the pads change colour when pushing them (but the action takes place ...like looping). Please help
I just unboxed my Xdj-rx. I have Pioneer monitors but haven't plugged them in. I';ve transfered a few tracks from rekorbox to my USB and have it loaded. New Beats headphones plugged in and both decks playing but no lights on or sound playing? Same exact issue. Is there a solution? Do I need an adaptor for the headphone port?
Anyone fix this issue am having a similar issue on my new xdj rx 2
No sounds in midi mode, aka connected to my Mac, no led lights, everything works fine when using the usb stick, but nothing with my computer
@Jozae > Ensure you've installed the correct drivers and configured rekordbox to output the audio to the XDJ-RX2.
I got the same problem
Just unboxed the XDJ RX2 and I’ve got no audio out my rokits or headphones only audio from my Mac’s internal speakers??
@DonnyDreamboat > Have you perused the owner's manual linked above?
Do you have the PC Master Out enabled? If so, disable by clicking it.
I sorted it,it was the driver 👍🏻
Hi I have the same problem, I’ve read the manual and I’ve also downloaded the drivers but the only option I’m being given is the “built-in output” that plays out the laptop when I want it to use the xdj-rx as the driver, please help me sort this its driving me nuts 😅
I’m on Mac by the way!
@Jamie > I'm going to guess you're using High Sierra? You need to run the driver installation, then after that has completed, follow these instructions to disable the driver security, and then immediately install the drivers again.
You lot are legends, thanks so much for your help!!!!
Glad you got it working! Enjoy. :)
Hi all, my issue is when I connect my Mac to Xdj-rx2 with the usb cable. I get no sound in my headphones - the sound comes from my Mac? When I connect an USB directly to the controller I get sound in my headphones and everything is right.
Anybody know what to do?
