There is a bit of D/A and amplifier noise when using the headphones, but the D/A on the master output is a higher quality and should have far less noise.

Toraiz Sp-16 Noise?
Is it normal to hear a fair amount of noise/hiss in the headphones if I turn the Master volume control all the way up? It's not outrageous but I was surprised at how much is present.
