RX3 cannot connect to rekordbox on mac by midi

I have recently got an XDJ RX3. I have installed the latest audio drivers for it on my mac running Monterey 12.6.7.

When i connect to my mac via usb and launch rekordbox 5 in performance mode the audio works but I cannot control the rekordbox decks or browse my rekordbox collection on the rx3.

When i click the midi button in the top right hand corner of rekordbox and open it there isn't a reference there for the rx3.

I have used the xdj xz with rekordbox 5 in performance mode with no issues so not sure why i cannot do the same with the RX3.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
