XDJ1000MK2 HID Traktor support? Any planned updates to support this?

Hi
Could anyone at Pioneer confirm when they will provide HID support on the XDJ1000MK2 for Traktor Pro?

Was seriously disappointing after purchasing new Pioneer equipment and doing all the required firmware update, plus Aggregate driver installs ontop of MacOs updates, just to find out that it doesn't work?

Spoken to several dj's who are super annoyed about this : ((

Can anyone Please confirm whether there are plans on a release date on firmware and drivers that will provide HID support for Traktor Pro?

Thanks

It would require NI to push that support through, and given that they recently announced a new batch of supported hardware but the XDJ-1000MK2 wasn't in there, I would expect there are no plans to provide HID support for it. Sorry.

Thanks Pulse for the speedy reply...
I noticed a big announcement few days ago about Traktor 2.11.3 Big Stage HID intergration... their video clip from last week indicates that it does, as one would think that when they mention XDJ1000 they would not only refer to the lower model, it makes very little sense, and I guess the question is why would they not support XDJ1000MK2 and virtually all the other Pioneer models including Nexus range....

I'm not sure why, it could be to do with rekordbox integration, but that's speculation on my end. Sorry!

What makes even less sense is that why would NI upset many thousands of loyal customers?  Is it really just because for some reason the new XDJ1000MK2 product doesn't allow them to add HID support for their own software? or are there perhaps other issues they don't want their own loyal customers to know about?  Either way this could tarnish both brand names, and if Pioneer is that sure about NI not wanting to provide HID support for the XDJ1000MK2's it would best serve PIONEER to make a more clear to their loyal customers and the many cross pollinated customers around the world, as that would be the right thing to do, and not for customers to only find out once they've spent their hard earned cash... no market share will be gained either way, only tons of red flags and big question marks...
Utterly dissapointed

I understand the frustration. It's quite a complicated thing - there's company politics, money, etc.. and unfortunately, the user is the one who feels omitted. You just want to use your choice of hardware with your choice of software. Unfortunately there's not much we can do when two companies each have their own motives for providing or limiting compatibility. Sorry!

That is Brilliant news indeed... Cant wait to use the XDJ1000MK2 in HID mode...
They are such killer players and gonna be great to get every penny's worth out of them once this update is released.
