Mapping Akai AFX pads for Rekordbox

Hi all, I'm in the process of remapping my Akai AFX to use with Rekordbox (currently unsupported by Pioneer, naturally), and am struggling to make the pads responsive.

For example, if I want to map HotCue1 to a pad, there's no response, whereas if I attempt to map it to one of the non velocity-controlled buttons, there's no problem. Is there a way I can force Rekordbox to accept any pressure on a pad as a full 'signal', as if it was acting like a button?
