Given that the tempo is derived from the beat grid, if your grid is accurate, there's really little need to tap it, so no, it's been a low priority addition, sorry.

Tap Tempo
Hi.
Is there a hot key for this feature yet?
Currently I hover my mouse over it and use the mouse button on my laptop to set the tempo for effects.
