Cdj 2000nexus

So I am playing a set this weekend where they are super lying a 3cdj set up. Ive always been used to playing on 2cdjs. I am just wondering, with the music I play and my sets are so quick and intense, I use the beat grid boxes to line my tracks up to sync. With there being 3ccdjs, does this still work, as I’m trying to work out how it works? Or does the other two run off one master and those boxes are lined to that master cdj?
