Pioneer Toraiz SP16 with Ableton or (a DAW)

OK here's what I can do -

With USB midi I can synch the toraiz to Ableton, and I can use the SP16 to send notes to Ableton to be played/recorded.

I can't for the life of me figure out how to map certain parameters in Ableton to knobws on the Toraiz, any ideas?

For some reason, when using my Moog Model IOS (on iphone) with a midi interface, I can map Toraiz buttons to control say the cut off on the Moog app.

But ableton is a sticking point, any ideas?
