Connecting my 250-MK2 to dvs and making it work

I have installed all drivers, hooked up my mixer and plugged in my computer with rekordbox dj all set. The 2 seam to not want to communicate as I have no control from the SL1200 and it seams to not even recognize it’s in the USB. Help please
