rekordbox not exporting songs to usb

I had a few songs on my USB I no longer wanted and I renamed, and added more cues to a few songs on rekordbox; so deleted everything on my USB. I then tried to re-export my songs to the USB however it is still empty. I also tried making a new playlist and exporting that but still no luck.

"Deleted everything" or formatted? If you deleted files, you may have left hidden folders on the drive. Please format and give the drive a new and unique name, then try exporting again.
