DJM900NXS Recording Issue

I have always used my DJM to record straight to Audacity via USB.

I now have a new laptop (HP ENVY, all drivers updated) and when I try and record a mix the sound comes out scratchy and high pitched. I thought it might be the settings in Audacity so I tried different sample rates etc... but it didnt make a difference. I also tried Wavepad and had the same result. Audacity screenshot attached below.

I have tried using rekordbox with laptop, just a USB, a different USB slot for cables, a different USB cable running from the DJM and I get the same sound outcome. (DJM is set to REC Out)

The sound in my headphones, and speakers are great when playing, its just when recorded and played back, its unrecognisable.

Can I please get some help.

Have you compiled a version of Audacity with the ASIO drivers included, or are you using a 3rd party application to route the ASIO audio to a WDM or MME device for Audacity to access?

Is that it? no more support?

I have tried using Voicemeeter and it worked once, I turned everything on again and now Im getting no gain on my mixer when playing from the laptop.
