Blue color output as purple through RB Lighting

I have some ADJ Stinger Spot moving heads and they work great, but I am unable to get the color BLUE to output to the light. No matter what shade is selected in the lighting editor, purple is displayed on the light itself. When I set the color to purple, it matches the same. When I run the light in demo mode or sound activated mode, there is a very distinct blue that it is capable of. It seems that the mapping for this may have an issue. Is it possible to check into this?

Here is a link to the light on ADJ's website for reference -https://www.adj.com/stinger-spot

User manual - https://www.fullcompass.com/common/files/29859-ADJStingerSpotUserManual.pdf

Using this in 11 channel mode.

Hello Andrew,

rekordbox lighting engineers investigated the User Manual and Database of this fixture and tested the behaviors using rekordbox with a simulator. However, we have not been able to replicate the issue of purple color instead of blue.
To CH:5, all the white:5, red:11, green:32, blue:39, yellow:25, purple:53, cyan(0x00ffff):32 are properly sent.

Please check if "Blue" is enabled at the button shown below.

Thank you for your kind cooperation.

I did some testing on this and manually sent the DMX values with custom inputs in Rekordbox and the blue and light blue are exactly what you would expect. However, both colors still output as purple.

I tested this in both 9 and 11 channel modes and the result is the same. The weirdest part is that there is no color for purple listed in the manual, but RB is somehow able to generate it.

Is anyone able to help out here? It seems there is a misconfiguration on the Rekordbox side or within the fixture library data.

@AtlaBase, is this something you can fix from your side? I reached out to ADJ, but they said it was an issue with the fixture database info.

I have a gig coming up soon and was hoping to get these lights programmed for that, but missing these 2 colors is holding me up.

Hello, from our side, we only see in the ADJ documentation that there is a color wheel and we have used the relevant colors. This is why we have internally forwarded this to Pioneer agents so that they can make sure if there is an error in rekordbox's side.

I checked this again, and the blue is working but the light blue isn't. From what I've seen in stores, mine just looks a bit more on the purple side, but I think this is intended. However, the light blue is still not working. I used the DMX override functionality and tested each value for the light blue and they all worked correctly when I did that. The only thing not working is within Rekordbox Lighting, I set the value to light blue but regular blue is displayed.

Clicking CYAN within Rekordbox turns the lights green.

We have made a minor change in the split mode range of the color wheel which will be reflected in the next rekordbox fixture library update (performed once a week on Wednesday or Thursday except for the national and company holidays). Please find the latest list of the library fixtures here (under Fixture library lists).
However, this should not affect anything based on your description. If you are testing each value and you are getting the right colors I cannot explain why this could be happening.

Let's wait for the Pioneer agents to check also.
