pioneer xdj1000xz

was talking to someone who said they successfully got a Roland tr6s drum machine to sync (midi clock )directly from the Pioneer xdj1000xz USB port..Unless there was a firmware update to send midi clock over USB that i missed i thought midi clock was only processed through the ProLInk Ethernet ports. 

Pioneer help please
