Beatport link download error

Running 6.6.4 on Macbook Air running macOS Monterey - connected to XDJ RX2. I use beatport for streaming and able to log in consisently well with no authentication issues. With noticeably high frequency, following login, I encounter consistent download errors with Beatport. Track meta data will download, but track download will freeze and eventually time out. Shutting down and restarting rekordbox (or even the whole device) does not remedy the problem. Switching from wifi to personal hotspot (or back) will occasionally but only temporarily work. Downgrading to 6.6.1 also seems to work but then I run into compatibility issues with the XDJ and can't load tracks to decks - so downgrade to 6.6.1 is not a workable solution.
