UPVOTED.

Surely, they can adapt the '3Band' waveform for stems.

Even though Algoriddim and Virtual DJ WON'T ADMIT IT, this AI audio signal separation is based on the OPEN SOURCE 'Spleeter' by Deezer Research.  It's so obvious because the results are the same in that you can hear the same ARTIFACTING going on.

With that said, rekordbox 6.0.2 has vocal detection, and they should also be able to adapt the '3Band' waveform for stems.  Hoping they're just waiting until they can improve it.  Also, hoping they won't charge for it like the vocal detection (those @zzh#les).

Hi,

They are several others stems soluces :

Demucs seems to be better than Speeter or VDJ, Pioneer could look at Demucs :

see this great video : comparaison between several soluces:

Other soluces :

so Spleeter is not alone on the MIT market...........

Thanks for the links, but I believe spleeter was released first in Nov 2019.

I don't want to argue which tools were the originators...but we as a community have to support each other by UPVOTING worthy ideas, hoping that Pioneer will notice.

There is another similar topic in this forum that also needs to be upvoted:

Cheers.

lol - "backwards fool" :D

I've tested their systems, and they are intriguing (yes, based on Spleetr), but I've not been impressed by the output quality. Don't get me wrong, the fact it can separate them as well as it does is pretty awesome, but they sound so compressed. :(

The new version of demucs is noticeably better than spleeter, recommend checking it out.
