Epsilon Galaxy

I know it is an odd light, but it is amazing in a show!

Epsilon Galaxy

Manufacturer:  Epsilon

Model name:  Galaxy

Fixture type:  Effect light

Product Website:  http://www.epsilon-pro.com/lights-galaxy.html

Product manual:  There is none available on the web, but I have uploaded it to dropbox:  https://www.dropbox.com/s/a34c4elfspv4s7l/Epsilon%20Galaxy%20manual.pdf?dl=0

The light has 3 Channels

Channel 1 – Programs 1-20 (DMX values are in the manual)

Channel 2 – Speed

Channel 3 – Strobe

Thanks so much!

Hello Brett,

Thank you for the fixture request. Please understand Effect lights has not been supported in the rekordbox lighting software. Please see the Forum post below. Unfortunately, Effect and some other lighting functions cannot be used in the current version of rekordbox lighting.

https://forums.pioneerdj.com/hc/en-us/community/topics/115000046523-Lighting-Fixture-Request

  • Only specific DMX lighting fixture features – such as the dimmer, strobe, color and moving head (PAN/TILT) – can be controlled with Lighting mode.
  • Fixtures with other features, may not work as expected.
  • Features such as gobo, along with some effect lights, lasers, fog machines and all-in-one lighting systems, aren't supported.

Sorry for not meeting your expectations and thank you for your kind understanding.

Hello again!

I know it's been a while since I put this fixture up, but it doesn't work in it's current state (it never turns the light on).  I was wondering, is it possible to have Channel 1 go to "240" to activate it? (I had experimented with Rekordbox 6, and that triggers the light to what I need).

The reason is this, 240 activates the sound mode, which is the true excitement of this light.  Perhaps it could be an alternate entry called "Epsilon Galaxy sound mode"?

If it can't be done, I understand... just though I would ask.

Here is a link to the manual again if you need it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/btlt2xwshsn2t2l/Epsilon%20Galaxy%20manual.pdf?dl=0

Thanks for all your hard work!
