DJM-S11 Scratch Banks & FX Banks Question

If i have a song loaded and then go into the Scratch Banks and hit a sample, then go back by hitting'Hot Cue' it doesn't go back to my previously loaded track. It just keep the Scratch Bank sample in the player.

Also, when powering the mixer up I realized the ECHO doesn't have a Filter on it. If I go into the FX Banks and say I hit 'A,' it adds a filter to my echo and I can't figure how to get it off. I tried different Banks and Filter is on all of them and there is no way to go back so there's no filter, or at least an easy option.
