DJM S11 screen for USB A shows Lock for Rekordbox

When I connect my S11 to my laptop for rekordbox via usb A, on my djm screen i see USB A and then a lock symbol. its like it cannot contact the rekord box  app to hand the library. Any idea? I can get a DVS signal just fine. But the mixer itself is not even accessible in my rekord box app.
