XDJ-XZ - Traktor Support

Hi There,

I am weighing up whether to change to this unit. I currently have 2 x CDJ2000nxs, DJM900nxs2, 2 x Technics 1210 (using Traktor).

I can't find an answer to this question anywhere:

Does the XDJ-XZ currently work with Traktor, like the DJM900nxs, if I plugged my laptop in? The mixer is based on the nxs2 right.

If not, are there plans for it to work with Traktor in the near future?

Or has the decision been made to never work with Traktor?

Basically, with Traktor functionality I'd buy the XDJ-XZ tomorrow, but if I have to pay £9.99 for the rest of my life just for DVS functionality I'd be an idiot to go down that route.

Not from us, no - sorry. If Native Instruments chooses to implement it (which I doubt they'll do), it would be at their own volition.

We haven't made it a certified product yet (last 2 were the XDJ-1000MK2 and XDJ-700), but I have seen the XZ work well with Traktor via a third party file download. If you search YouTube you will also see the video from the same user.

Is there a chance that the XDJ XZ will get a HID support for Traktor at some point?

As it would require NI to dedicate resources to add that functionality, I don't see it as happening, sorry.
