Hello -
I updated to Big Sur 11.4 and was prompted to install the correct audio driver (which was odd because it was up to date). Nonetheless, I uninstalled and reinstalled as advised. Once this was done, I no longer had audio running out of of the master/booth or my headphone outputs. I've tried to uninstall and reinstall mutiple times to no effect.
My firmware is up to date (1.12) and I am running the correct audio driver. Jog Wheel display is fine and audio runs fine from the channels through the computer but still cannot get audio for my headphones or master/booth outputs and subsequently my studio monitors and PAs.
My rekordbox does not show my ddj-1000 as a form of audio output on the audio settings, yet the software shoes the DDJ-1000 connected. I am running on a fairly powerful iMac with 3Ghz / 8GB RAM / Intel i5 Core processor.
I've already opened a ticket but am looking for any help as soon as possible as I have a small but important gig coming up soon and need this resolved asap. Is it a bug that Pioneer needs to fix with Big Sur 11.4 or is this something that is related to my units? Please advise as soon as anyone is able and thank you!

Hi Peter,
I see you've got the ticket open with our agents - I've been noticing a trend of tickets with 11.4, I'd recommend trying to roll back to 11.3.x if this is mission-critical for you until we can investigate further.
Thank you. I'll consider the roll back but as you know that is a process in and of itself to implement/back up the entire unit. Do you have any rough ETA? I do hope this is resolved soon as I would anticipate and influx of these issues as users update their OS. Any suggestions or workarounds other than a OS roll-back would be greatly appreciated. Thank you again for your time.
We're not 100% sure on whether it's a problem or not, just a trend I've been noticing with user complaints.
You should still be able to operate after installing the drivers (making sure you follow these steps to allow them through security), although those who had a problem said after they restarted, the DDJ wouldn't work again until they reinstalled the drivers. That may not be true for all users as it could simply be certain models require disabling the SIP to fully install the drivers properly.
Thank you for your suggestions. Unfortunately I've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver multiple times following the instructions you linked to a T. Further I tried disabling the SIP and installing and still no luck. I get audio on the channels into the computer but still no master/booth/headphone audio from the controller.
Please let me know if there are further actions to take and I will await substantive technical response to the ticket I opened at your earliest convenience.
