DDJ-800, No Sound w/ Phono Input

I have a new DDJ-800 and just hooked my turntable up to the phono input. When the controller is stand-alone, the vinyl signal comes through and sounds just fine (switched to phono input on the back of the controller and to phono/line on channel 1/3). However, as soon as I plug the controller into my laptop and engage Rekordbox (Performance mode), the phono signal cuts out. I can't figure out how to get the phono signal back when connected to Rekordbox. I tested channel 2/4 and the same problem occurs. As soon as I unplug the USB from my laptop, the phono signal comes back. Any ideas?

Utility/Driver version 1.1.0, Firmware: 1.01

Thanks!

Hey Dominic,

Yes, I figured it out! For some reason, Rekordbox needs the microphone privacy setting on, and it was off in my system. (see attached) That was causing the entire issue. Hope that helps!

Great to hear that solved it for you! I struggled with that for a couple weeks, until finally a Pioneer tech on another part of this forum helped me out. I was about to return the DDJ-800, as I was so frustrated.
