CDJ 3000 waveform lag @ start

I too am noticing this issue. It happens when the track first loads and the red line is expanding under the track overview. I’m assuming this is the buffer.
But yes the waveform is laggy/jittery u til the red line gets about a 1/3 of the way into buffering the track.

That's to be expected if your USB drive is the bottleneck.

Hey Pulse, Im using a super fast Samsung T5 SSD. it doesn't happen with any other software or system (ie Serato/Engine) So while I agree a slow USB drive can cause this, I do not think its the general cause, esp for me. Can it be looked into because its very distracting when you load a track and hit the play button a few seconds after the waveform comes up.

I have the same issue and upgraded from a "SanDisk Extreme Go 64GB USB 3.1" (roughly 200 MByte/sec) to a "SAMSUNG Portable SSD T7 Touch, 500 GB SSD" (roughly 800 Mbyte/sec) hoping that a faster SSD would resolve it.
The lag is still there. The used USB drive is not the bottleneck here.

All tracks (AIFF 44,1 kHz, 16 bit or MP3 320 kbit) are analyzed via Rekordbox 6.5.1.
The CDJ 3000 Players are connected to a GBit Switch via CAT 6 cables using firmware 1.10.
Please look into this issue, it is very annoying as the players should perform much better.

I tried also a video but in real the issue is way more noticable then shown on a video. I don't know why. Please look into this issue, it is very annoying as the players should perform much better.

This issue is still present in firmware 1.11.

Not everything was fixed in 1.11. ;)

I opened a ticket for this issue. If you are annoyed (like me) by the obvious "waveform lag with each song @ the beginning" please open a ticket aswell.

@Jan E - Can you please tell me if you use fingerprint option on your T7 Touch?  
I have tried a lot of variants on XDJ-700 and still not working for me.

I do not use the fingerprint option. The T7 and every other USB stick (or SSD) work fine. The waveform lag that is driving me crazy is a CDJ 3000 issue. Engineering at Pioneer DJ support confirmed the issue. They can easily reproduce it, but they won`t fix it until they receive a lot more tickets for this issue.
