Not sure if your question is still relevant but the abs mode works only with the Rekordbox vinyl. If you are using Serato vinyls, only REL can be used.

ABS not working on Rekordbox DVS?
Hi there, I just bought the DJM 450 to use the DVS function in Rekordbox. The control vinyl sets up as normal and works perfectly on REL mode. But ABS doesn't work, and even in REL mode the INT/REL button is greyed out as if it isn't seeing the control vinyl. Can anyone advise please? Many thanks for your help.

Thanks Marek, I have since returned the serato vinyl (which the seller told me worked and RKB one was out of stock).and am waiting for the Pioneer vinyl as we speak. But appreciate you taking the time to reply.
