The AS-1 is a monophonic synth but it can be used for lead/pad sounds as well as bass lines.

The new synth has me intrigued but can someone clarify is this hardware that you can use for melodies (leads / pads)or is it purely a synth for bass lines?
Love the you tube videos which show it playing nicely with the SP16
