Hope you guys can answer this ok? Will do every single question separably.
- TEXT / IMAGE / CAMERA MENU
We really need a DELETE option here.
In the right side of the video menu, where we can choose text, image or camera: in the image option, once you have saved an image to use, there is no way of deleting it, not even if you delete the original file from the computer. So by the time you have made a few gigs with different logos or photos, when you don't have use for them, they become an constant hamper...
Also, Rekordbox should remember at least the last Font used in Text. Ideal would be to remember the different fonts for every single text; Also, some different patterns of movement for texts and logos would be awesome. Maybe we can have shortcut bottons for those, like you did for favourite transitions FX;
- ADJUST FOR BLINK TRANSITION FX
The speed of the blinking should follow the position of the fader. So, wen closer to the final, blink slowly, and near the center, blinks faster.
- MIDI MAPPING
On another subject, PLEASE, include more midi mapping options for videos.
You guys made option for Transition "FX up" and 'Text / image / camera select up"... please do the same with Touch FX... Deck, 1,2 and Master, So I can map the selected field and jump from one to other without the use of mouse.
- ADJUST FOR TOUCH FX:
When there is no SoundColorFX selected, the touchTX should NOT automatically put some filter in the Audio. It woulb be good to have the option of touchFX affecting image + sound (like it is today) just when the ColorFX is also selected, OR JUST image when none colorFX. Sometimes we just want to mess around with the image but keeping finger in a straight line to mess around with the image is hard on a live performance.
Also, since you guys are putting new options here, there should be a way of selecting my favorites TouchFX and take off the list the ones I don't want to use, just like you did with TransitionFX. That's an awesome option, and you guys already done something similar :)
- VIDEO OUTPUT:
When will Rekordbox let me choose the output resolution of the video window?
Is there a plan of supporting syphon in Rekordbox? I want to be able to do videomapping (façade or resolume, for example) and use the videoclips on my controller at the same time.
- PLAYLIST
Please allow us to use "user tag" and specially "related tracks" for videos. This could make so much easier to modify and update video playlists.
Is there a technical reason for limitation for us to make hybrid playlists (with audio and video)?? This way it would be easier to make a hybrid playlist and link my graphics to the audio files that don't have a video clip. Instead, these days I have to check all the time both lists (video and audio) to make a gig. It is specially hard to do when you work in different styles of parties, and have more than 1.000 videoclips, another 3k of graphics and 4 folders and up to 3k audio.
- BUGS:
Why don't rekordbox see duplicated videos when importing? Last night I was updating my playlist, and instead of just importing the videos I didn't have already, it imported everysingle one, and modificated the "date added" so I would have to manually delete every duplcated file. So, instead, I deleted the playlist and imported every single file from that playlist again, and guess what? Now there is no ARTWORK preview!!! PLEASE PLEASE HELP.
Please fix this preiew audo and artwork bug! It was a bad function on rekordbox 4.1, and since 4.2.3 was supposedly fixed.
