I'm dj'ing back to back with my buddy on 2 CDJ2000 nexus.
I want to use Rekordbox on my laptop, with a network switch.
He wants to use a USB drive plugged into one of the CDJ's
Is it possible to play back to back like this? We usually play like 2 to 4 songs each.

Correct - and even if you wanted to play from rekordbox (dj - performance mode), you just connect the CDJs via USB to your computer and it won't disconnect when you switch to USB from the MIDI mode when it's time for him to play.
