Track with a master tempo set on a non-zero value would mean the track would be off-key a in general such feature makes not much sense...
Lock master key to spot other than zero on all units with update-able firmware
It would be nice to be able to lock key somewhere other than zero, either to hide pitch bends while not needing to degrade sound too much, or to put the track in a completely different key.

Some tracks are not perfectly in-key to begin with.
There are many keys other than the original key a track has, both in 6% increments and in semitones. This becomes even more complicated when talking about chords and blending two or more tracks at the same time of varying keys, both in terms of absolute tone and relative ones.
And it's even useful when not dealing with keys specifically -- as a means of locking tone off the centerline in order to hide pitch bending while not degrading the fidelity as much as having master tempo/keylock On all the way from the zero.
