Does the noise only occur when connecting the unit to power?
Does it persist for longer than the unit powering-up?
I bought the rev1 a few days ago and that night I set it up and it seemed to work completely fine. Its been a few days since and im plugging it in for the second time. This time when I plug it in, there is a very loud static white noise coming from the speakers. Any fix?
PS. Im using serito.

I am having a similar issue. I bought a REV1 on september and it outputs a very audible white noise/essing noise through the speakers. I recently upgraded from a 2016 macbook pro to the new 14 and it does the same. (running either Serato Pro or Lite, and various versions). Hear the noise whether Im using speakers plugged into my headphone jack on the laptop, or via an external sound card (I have a scarlet 2i2 and small behringer). The noise also comes through the headphones. When I unplug the REV1 and use software only, the white noise is gone. Also, when I plug in my Rane One, I don't hear white noise (all using the same software settings). My latency functions are set to the lowest setting, but I have a powerful computer, so that shouldnt be an issue.
I feel like I would need an external de-esser if I wanted to gig with it.
What could the problem be?
The DDJ is bus-powered, so there is naturally going to be a little amount of noise when connected to the computer. Do you still hear it when there is music playing?
